Her systematic approach to this sometimes confusing and complex process allows her to gain a deep understanding of her client's needs and effectively manage the process to ensure they are met. She is thorough and detail-oriented, continuously ensuring all parties are on the same page. Hillary is excited to work with families and investors interested in properties in and around the broader San Antonio area, including the King William District, Alta Vista, and Mahncke Park, all of which she has lived in, and others such as Monte Vista, Beacon Hill, and Tobin Hill. She also brings special knowledge and experience with remodeling historic homes to meet modern needs, having done so herself, all the while preserving the home’s original character and integrity. Hillary is a strong negotiator who gets results, a critical attribute during the closing period, that final step towards helping her clients realize their relocation dreams. She prides herself on executing her duties ethically and professionally—all while working hard to assist her clients achieve their goals.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Hillary raised her two daughters in Colombia, SC, and Bozeman, MT, before moving to San Antonio in 2010. Once settled, she owned a small successful retail fashion business in the Historic Pearl district for many years. This experience helped her hone skills in focused customer care and service with buyers, and product curation and marketing – all of which she continues to draw on today in delivering the best value to her clients. After selling her share of the business and before earning her real estate license, Hillary spent six months as a housing relocation case worker with Haven for Hope – a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness and hopelessness through comprehensive and coordinated one-stop-shop servicing of San Antonio’s most vulnerable population. Today, she is thrilled to work in an industry that allows her to continue meeting and helping so many diverse and interesting people seeking a home where they can live their best authentic lives. When she is not working, Hillary enjoys traveling internationally with her partner on his business trips and, when in San Antonio, hiking and biking Mission Trails, the Riverwalk, and the many other parks and greenspaces the city has to offer. She is active in her church and also seeks opportunities to give back to the community through focused and active volunteerism. Hillary shares her home with two adopted SNIPSA rescue cats, Sam and Mavis, who live rent-free and generally enjoy the run of the place!
