For Lisa Steen, real estate is about far more than property; it is about people, relationships, and helping clients confidently navigate an important chapter in their lives. With a genuine heart for service, an exceptional work ethic, and a commitment to continually growing her knowledge of the industry, Lisa approaches each client relationship with warmth, integrity, and thoughtful attention to detail.

Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas Permian Basin. Her professional approach has also been deeply shaped by more than 25 years of involvement with Bible Study Fellowship, including 15 years in significant leadership roles. She spent 12 years as a Teaching Leader, teaching and leading a class of several hundred women, before serving as an Area Advisor supporting leadership teams across multiple cities. These experiences strengthened her skills in communication, mentoring, listening, leadership, and guiding others with both confidence and compassion.

Those qualities translate naturally into Lisa’s work in real estate. She believes every client deserves to feel heard, valued, and exceptionally well cared for. Whether helping someone find a primary residence, second home, investment property, or preparing to sell a meaningful place, Lisa provides honest communication, thoughtful guidance, and steadfast advocacy from beginning to end.

Rockport has held a special place in Lisa’s family for many years. After countless summers spent visiting and making memories along the coast, Lisa and her husband, Steve, purchased a home in Rockport three years ago. Today, she feels fortunate to call the community home and enjoys helping others discover what makes the area so special.

Lisa and Steve have been married for more than 30 years and have two adult children, Avery and Steve III. When she isn’t working, Lisa can often be found boating, fishing, cruising the canals of Rockport, reading, needlepointing, and spending time with family and friends.

Above all, Lisa hopes clients know they have someone they can trust and depend on. She brings a genuine desire to serve others to everything she does, building relationships that extend well beyond the transaction and helping her clients move confidently toward whatever comes next.
