Scott Innes is a Texas-licensed Global Real Estate Advisor with Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty, based in San Antonio. With over two decades of experience in luxury real estate, including a distinguished career on Maui, Scott brings a rare combination of global perspective, disciplined strategy, and refined market insight to his work in South Texas.

Originally from Lafayette, California, Scott left home at 17 for a foreign exchange program in the Netherlands before serving in the United States Air Force as a Cryptologic Linguist. His military career included assignments in San Antonio, Monterey (Defense Language Institute), San Angelo, and West Berlin during the Cold War, where he witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall firsthand. He later served at Fort Meade, Maryland, working in conjunction with the National Security Agency. These experiences instilled the precision, composure, and strategic thinking that define his approach today.

Following his military service, Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University and went on to build a 21-year career in Maui real estate. There, he represented buyers and sellers in luxury homes, second residences, and investment properties, with career sales exceeding $46 million, including the successful sale of a $14.5 million property. His work in a globally competitive market refined his ability to navigate complex negotiations while delivering a high level of discretion and service.

Now based in San Antonio, Scott works primarily on a referral basis with a select group of clients. He focuses on historic and architecturally significant homes, luxury estates, and fellow veterans navigating relocation or investment decisions. His core markets include Monticello Park, the King William Historic District, Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, and select Hill Country properties.

Scott’s approach is intentionally different. He limits the number of clients he represents each year, allowing him to be fully present, strategic, and highly responsive. His clients are typically individuals who value experience over hype, those who appreciate thoughtful guidance, architectural understanding, and a steady hand during emotionally driven decisions.

With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and historic preservation, Scott approaches real estate as both a financial and stewardship decision. He understands the nuances of pricing unique properties, the importance of vetting qualified buyers, and the art of negotiation when the stakes and emotions are high.

His operating philosophy is simple: limited clients, thoughtful strategy, zero hustle.

Scott is known for his integrity, discretion, and calm, confident presence. Whether advising on the sale of a historic home or guiding a buyer through a complex acquisition, he is committed to delivering clarity, confidence, and exceptional results.
