With a background heavy in detail-oriented communication skills and self-marketing, Whitney Harper is an up-and-coming real estate agent for Canyon Lake, Wimberley, and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

Whitney spent a decade as a self-employed massage therapist. This is when she fine-tuned her listening skills. As a licensed massage therapist, it was imperative that she listen to all complaints and preferences of each client, and deliver accordingly with a touch of intuition and professional expertise while designating clear boundaries. Many years of self-marketing and big smiling paid off when applying for a Marketing/ Practice Representative position for a local Chiropractic Clinic. Moving into professional marketing came as an easy fit as quality services sell themselves when combined with Mrs. Harper’s learned perseverance and smiling persistence. Now, a resident of Wimberley, Whitney will always consider Canyon Lake her hometown. Whitney spent her childhood and early adult years on a ranch in the heart of Canyon Lake’s Sattler known as the original Sattler homestead. As a descendant of Wilhelm Sattler, the rich history of the Texas Hill Country presents a certain charm and wonder for Whitney that is likely to become contagious. Whitney graduated from Canyon High School and lived in the enchanting historic district of New Braunfels for three years, spending much of her days riding her bicycle through the neighborhood and admiring homes. She is both comfortable and familiar with all of Comal County.

In her own recent home search which took her to Blanco, Spring Branch, Geronimo, Seguin, San Marcos and finally, Wimberley, Whitney has become acutely aware of difficulties and frustrations from a buyer’s perspective, in addition to a new-found appreciation for what real estate agents go through in order to deliver a consumer’s beloved new home.

Appropriately, Whitney continues to enjoy spending her free time on realtor.com perusing the possibilities and comparing them to other areas. When asked what pushed her to begin a career in real estate, Whitney stated, “I like houses, and I love people. Helping others feel ‘at home’ is one of my greatest pleasures in life.
