Can't Miss Events in Austin this August

In one of the largest cities in the country, there's always something to do. Bring in the summer with these exciting events for all ages!

Paramount Theatre presents Summer Classic Film Series

Continuing August 1st- August 31st

Paramount Theatre: 713 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701

Austin has changed a lot over the past decade, but one tradition you can always count on is the Paramount Summer Classic Film Series, now in its 44th year. The series will feature more than 100 films, including well-preserved film prints and dazzling digital restorations, romance and laughs and thrills, and more. By joining their Film Fan Club you can enjoy quintessential Film Fan benefits like discounted or free admission, convenient parking, complimentary popcorn, and premium seating.

Austin Restaurant Weeks

August 15th- September 2nd

When you dine out you can help fight hunger. Austin Restaurant Weeks brings chefs and foodies together in the fight. Hunger is a serious issue here in Central Texas, where 1 in 6 of our neighbors can’t be sure where their next meal will come from.

You can help by dining out at participating restaurants during Austin Restaurant Weeks, a two-week-long dining extravaganza featuring specially-priced lunches, dinners and cocktails at restaurants throughout the greater Austin area. A portion of the price of each meal comes directly to the Central Texas Food Bank, which can turn each dollar into four meals for our neighbors in need.

Continuing August 1st-September 29th

Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures: 14529 Pocahontas Trl., Leander, TX 78641
