Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival


Luminaria's Contemporary Arts Festival is the premier showcase event for artists of all genres. This year’s themes include LGBTQ+, Cultural Intersectionality and Dance, among numerous others. The Contemporary Arts Festival will include the Artist Foundation of San Antonio, National Association of Latino Arts & Culture, Contemporary Arts Month and the Mexican Consulate.

The Magik Theatre presents Shakespeare on the River: Romeo & Juliet


Shakespeare on the River is family-friendly Shakespeare from Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, which will return to San Antonio for a fourth consecutive year to perform Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, reimagined for audiences of all ages.

SeaWorld presents Christmas Celebration


SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration will be back with Santa, sea lions, over 9 million shimmering lights, the Sesame Street Christmas Parade and much more. Guests can grab delicious food, enjoy delightful holiday shopping, meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends and experience sensational shows. These include the inspiring orca show, Shamu’s Christmas Miracles; the hilarious sea lion and otter show, Clyde & Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas; and A Pets Ahoy Christmas show. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration brings together family fun and holiday traditions and is included with park admission.

“Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts Movement”


"Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts Movement" focuses on three generations of young and rebellious artists, designers, and makers who revolutionized the arts in Britain from 1840 to 1910. Organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Birmingham Museums Trust, the exhibition features 150 works drawn from the rich collection of the city of Birmingham, England, and includes paintings, drawings, books, sculptures, textiles, stained glass, jewelry, and decorative objects.

Ford Holiday River Parade


Ring in the holidays with this iconic night parade filled with lights, costumed float riders & music. 2019 Parade Theme: "Texas Music Christmas." Each float will depict a Texas musician and their Christmas music. 2019 Grand Marshal: Billy Gibbons, One of the finest blues-rock guitarists from Texas and best known for his remarkable playing with ZZ Top.
