Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty is excited to announce that esteemed Austin-based realtor, Kirk Lewis, is joining our team of agents. Lewis, who has consistently been one of Austin’s top producing agents in the luxury real estate market for over two decades, will bring his team and his expertise to Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty to help meet the ever-increasing demand for property in Austin and its surrounding areas.
Lewis has built a steady reputation in the luxury real estate industry in Austin over the years. After graduating from Angelo State, he got his start in the tech industry in California before moving to Austin in 1996. In 2000, Lewis coupled his negotiation skills with his love for people and made the shift into the luxury housing industry. Since then, Lewis has been a top producer in the market. In that time, Lewis has also received numerous accolades, such as being ranked as one of the top agents in Austin by the Austin Business Journal, being a part of Elite 25, Luxury League, and Platinum Top 50, and being a member of both the Austin Board of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS.
Joining him at Kuper is Lewis’ team composed of agents Greg Vassaur, Leigh Ann Prewitt and Maddie Rubin, and his wife, Jill Lewis. Kirk Lewis and his team are excited to join the elite agents at Kuper and to work with other top producing agents. This year Kuper had agents in Austin and San Antonio that were recognized as the top agent in their respective markets by the San Antonio and Austin Business Journals. Kuper has also seen record sales in recent years. The agents and staff at Kuper are thrilled to have Kirk Lewis and his team join the ranks of its top agents.

Kirk Lewis was born to be an entrepreneur. He grew up in a tight-knit community in the small town of Clyde, TX. Although Kirk credits his father for teaching him how to be an effective businessman and demonstrating the benefits of having an entrepreneurial spirit, he was a natural from the start. At 16, he began his first business. He bought portable “flashing arrow signs” to rent to businesses, mainly in Abilene. His company took off quickly, and he began earning some real money while still attending high school. Later while attending college, Kirk was also busy courting the love of his life, Jill. The two got married before graduation and completed their time at Angelo State University together. After obtaining his BA in Marketing, he wasn’t sure what direction he wanted to take his future career. He ultimately took a job with the same company as part of a start-up in Sunnyvale, CA, during the height of the tech boom in the ‘90s. He loved the time he spent in California, but once the tech company sold, the couple could not wait to head back to Austin.
This move would begin Kirk’s career in real estate. Upon his return to Austin, Kirk became an investor for Better Homes and Gardens Homecity. Once he became entrenched in real estate, he felt he was made to dominate the industry. He opened up The Lewis Residential Group and has been on top of the industry since. He is consistently rated as one of the top Agents in Austin by the Austin Business Journal out of 10,000 Agents. He has also been a member of the Elite 25 Of Austin 12 times, and a Luxury League member in 2017, a past Platinum Top 50 REALTORS, a Top Producing Agent at HomeCity from 2003 to the present, and a member of both the Austin Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. In his free time, Kirk loves spending time with his friends and family, and is an avid artist and pool player. Kirk and Jill have now been happily married for 31 years, and he credits much of his success to his wife and her endless support. “I am very, very lucky to have her,” Kirk says with a smile, as he discusses the numerous ways that Jill has helped build their business. Kirk is also blessed with having a big family, full of nieces and nephews, and great friends that are his best advocates and supporters.
The son of a career military man, Greg's global travels afforded him the experience to interact with people from all walks of life. At an early age, Greg understood the value of listening, connecting, and "putting yourself in someone else's shoes." After spending his early career in mortgage loan origination and executive management of a large-scale mortgage closing services business, Greg realized his passion was assisting others. Having called Austin home since 1996, moving into real estate was the natural progression to incorporate his vast understanding of lending, and lending related activities, with his love for Austin and Central Texas. Whether the client is a tenured real estate expert or a first time home buyer, Greg prides himself on devising plans that fit uniquely for each client to ensure their needs are met.
Greg has been recognized over the last several years by the Austin Business Journal and Platinum Top 50 organization as one of the top producing agents in the Austin area. Having experience that matters and integrity that builds trust, he looks forward to achieving all of his clients' goals.
Born in California and raised in Austin, Maddie Rubin has been surrounded by real estate her entire life. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a Psychology degree, she couldn’t get back to Austin quickly enough. Maddie knew she wanted to follow in the family’s footsteps of real estate and to start her career in her home city.
Maddie has always known that she was not born to be sitting behind a desk all day, but rather creating honest connections with people. She shines in social settings and knew real estate was the perfect career path for her. Having studied psychology in college, Maddie uses her skills to help people navigate the life changing decisions of buying and selling a home. She understands the gravity of real estate and takes pride in helping clients have the most seamless experience possible.
Creating her own roots in Austin, Maddie is now living downtown and enjoys spending her free time with her pug, Milo, and exploring everything this amazing city has to offer.
As a native Virginian, growing up in the DC Metro area and alumni of Virginia Tech, Leigh Ann Prewitt spent the early part of her career in the high tech staffing and consulting world. What Leigh Ann loved about this work is helping companies develop resourcing strategies and then matching the perfect candidates for the open roles. Building relationships over the years with both the hiring managers and the people that she placed is what made it successful.
Naturally, when Leigh Ann entered the real estate industry in 2004 it all felt very similar and even more rewarding. Real estate is a very personal process for both Buyers and Sellers, not just transactional. She enjoys learning about her clients, their families, lifestyles, hobbies and interests, and as they build their relationships the process of buying or selling is very organic.
The Austin market is an exciting place to be working in real estate because our city has so much to offer with tech businesses, entertainment, sports and lots and lots of outdoor fun to experience. Leigh Ann consistently says how blessed she is to be able to call Austin home with her husband and three children and welcome the many new faces to our wonderful state of Texas.
Growing up as a fourth generation Texan, Jill Lewis has roots that run deep. With a father that was in sales and always teaching her life skills, it was enough of an education for her to know that celebrating people being happy was a fun business model. Jill loves to see people get what they want and is always rooting for the underdog, she is fueled by seeing impossible situations come to fruition. Surrounding herself with the best is a big part of that strategy. When she met her husband, Kirk, she recognized that he was her missing link. Learning everything they could from attending Angelo State University their next stop was Austin, Texas. Over thirty years later they are still commingling their knowledge and working towards greatness. She’s come a long way since 1999 driving the streets of Austin, looking at every house added to the MLS daily as a photographer for a real estate company. Obtaining her real estate license almost 20 years ago and quickly adding a GRI designation laid the foundation. Jill promotes incomparable properties, pride in investment, and full confidence that the result is the ultimate outcome. Knowing clients are happy in their homes is what helps her to sleep at night.
