Valerie Petrie is a native Texan with a passion for the land and a heart for interior design. Growing up with parents, who were an antique dealer and interior designer, taught her the value of architectural beauty and the importance of a sense of place.
Earning her BA in Arts encouraged her interest in home design. She chose a career in education, teaching elementary school for many years. Her husband’s career path resulted in several relocations both domestic and abroad. These travels resulted in buying and selling,
moving, remodeling and building 15 houses in 25 years of marriage.
Her diverse experiences include exposure to a variety of real estate properties - luxury, farm and ranch, waterfront and development properties. Her diverse background has given her added insight and empathy with her client’s individualized real estate requirements. Valerie’s partnership with Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty gives her clientele options for global exposure, branding, and service that are unmatched. Valerie and her family planted roots in 2005 in Boerne, Texas. The family still has the travel bug though - Ireland is their current vacation spot of choice. She is an active member of Currey Creek Church - faith and Christian fellowship are very important to Valerie and her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have three wonderful children - sons Campbell at University of Arkansas and Hogan at Texas A&M, and daughter Corley at Geneva School of Boerne.
