San Antonio Area:


Haunted River

WHERE: Arneson River Theatre in La Villita (adult-themed activities) & Shops of Rivercenter lagoon (family-friendly) • WHEN: October 25th

Have a Spooktacular Halloween on the San Antonio Riverwalk! With something for both kids and adults, this event will be fun for the whole family. Enjoy live music, dancing, a haunted river parade on the San Antonio River, adult (18+) and kids costume contests and trick-or-treating.


Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

WHERE: Six Flags Fiesta Texas (17000 IH-10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257) • WHEN: September 13th- November 2nd

Ready to get your scare on? Head on over to Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for an all-out Halloween experience. Family-friendly holiday activities will take place during the day, and ghoulish zombies and monsters will emerge at dusk. Fright Fest offers several activities including haunted mazes and scare zones throughout the Park.


Zoo Boo

WHERE: San Antonio Zoo (3903 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78212) • WHEN: Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 21- Oct. 27, and Halloween day.

A delightfully fun, family-friendly adventure awaits you at Zoo Boo. Experience the San Antonio Zoo in a whole like you never have: in the dark! Halloween themed activities include trick-or-treat stops throughout the zoo, pumpkin painting, a hay maze, costume contests and games.


Austin Area


Haunted Halloween Trails at Pioneer Farms

WHERE: Pioneer Farms (10621 Pioneer Farms Dr, Austin, TX 78754) • WHEN: Oct. 18-19, 25-26-27 // 7-11 pm

Join Pioneer Farms for their annual Halloween Haunted Trails Festival, this year’s theme being “Dark Harvest.” This event will feature spooky walking trails, live music, pumpkin carving, and storytelling. This Spooktacular event is Austin’s finest Halloween experience for all ages!


Nightmare on Gibson Street

WHERE: Gibson Street Bar • WHEN: Fridays and Saturday nights in the month of October

Want more than just one night of holiday fun? Join Gibson Street Bar every Friday and Saturday night in October for a spooky good time. Halloween inspired cocktails, elaborate decorations and DJs will be featured, as well as a costume contest on Halloween night.


House of Torment

WHERE: 2632 Ridgepoint Dr., Austin, TX 78754

Taking place the last weekend of September, most days in October, and the first 2 weekends of November (full calendar available on the website). Come experience true fear at Austin’s best haunted house. Featuring 3 differently themed mazes, escape rooms, and a tavern for spooky cocktails. No Halloween is complete without an exciting haunted house!
